What is the purpose of this website?
This web page is for informational purposes only which is designed to promote the dietitian as the nutrition expert. Information found in this site is not intended as a substitute for consultation with a health professional. It is recommended that you establish a relationship with a competent health care provider and consult with that person before making any diagnostic, treatment, or other health care decisions.
How can I add a link to this website?
Visitors my apply to join RDLink.com as members. Membership has three categories. General Members and Registered dieititans and Subscribers. Members may suggest link listings at the site which must then be approved by the webmaster.
Membership Categories and Priveledges:
Registered dietitians Members Privileges: RD's can suggest a link which is then approved by the webmaster. Registered Dietitians join RDLink.com. After RD status has been confirmed the membership is approved. The dietitian can then suggest a link. Suggest a link by going to the category of choice and clicking on the suggest link words in the action box on the right. Place the link suggestion information in the form. The webmaster will review this information, edit and approve the link. RDs can also submit articles and participate in the forum. You can also keep a favorite list of your favorite links on the site.
General Members Priviledges: Members can particpate in the forum. There is a favorites list where you can build your own list of favorite links at RDLink.com. Suggest links using the contact form... These will be reviewed by the webmaster for inclusion in the nutrition links section or dietitian directory.
Subscribers: This is a group of folks who do not want to be members but who want to recieve news and information from the site.
What is your linking policy?
Linking policy: This site only links to resources that are scientific, evidence based resources. Anyone who is a registered dietitian will receive one free link on the page of his or her choice. Other links may be added by the barter system or through paid advertising or affiliate links. Please contact this webmaster if a link is found to be contrary to this policy.
How are registered dietitian credentials checked?
Registered Dietitians "R.D.'s" featured on this site are reviewed twice per year. If you have knowledge of a person or persons claiming to be a registered dietitian without credentials please contact the webmaster at the address below or contact the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) credentials: misuse officer. Is this site affiliated with ADA or CDR?
This website has no direct affiliation with the Commission on Dietetics Registration or the American Dietetic Association or their websites. The webmaster reviews the information found here, but can not guarantee it's accuracy. Please do not consider the inclusion of a link on this site to be an endorsement of it's contents or an indication of affiliation unless specifically expressed.
